HISTORY OF PENZIL ME

My name is Claudia Dublán, I am from Mexico City, and I have been living in Chicago, for the last past 28 years.

Since I was a child I have enjoyed art.

My best way to reflect my emotions was with drawings, and sometimes paintings. I do not consider myself a great artist, but I am passionate about this. I am a graphic designer, perhaps my shyness does not make me flourish, that is why I decided to show my drawings to see how far I can go. My art as a job, let me release and be maximum of my expressions and emotions.

My work is focused on the expressions of the human being, faces that express different states of mind and what better of people who have a theme to tell. All these faces inspired me at some point, and seeing the faces of the people who have seen them makes me feel great, that is the best gratification.

I started doing small portraits for family and friends as a hobby, back in 2013,  I had never thought that how quickly will grew as a business and make my talent a way to live.

It has been 10 years of seeing people smiles and tears of happiness when they see their love ones together in one picture.

I decided to create Penzil Me, Inc. as a company and not as a only one artist work , because one day  this company it is going to grow and I will hire more artists with so many different talents who want to learn how to live of their talent. Together we are not going to make just portraits with mean-less faces, Penzil Me, Inc. Will create portraits that they are will come from our hearts.
